Dr. G. Cliff Lamb

Assistant Center Director and Professor

Dr. G. Cliff Lamb is currently the Assistant Director and Professor at the University of Florida North Florida Research and Education Center in Marianna, FL.  His primary research efforts focus on applied reproductive physiology in cattle emphasizing synchronization of estrus in replacement heifers and postpartum cows.  Dr. Lamb also focuses on the interactions of nutrition on reproduction and the role that feed efficiency may play in female production systems.  Recently Dr. Lamb, with colleagues from six other institutions, received the 2013 USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) Partnership Award for Multistate Efforts for providing leadership and consistency in reproductive programming to the U.S. beef industry through cooperative Extension efforts.
