2009 UF/IFAS NFREC-Quincy Hosts CEU Day

Quincy, Fla. - UF/IFAS, North Florida Research and Education Center will host a 2009 CEU Day Tuesday, April 21 from 8:45am – 4:00pm. IFAS Administration has organized a statewide Continuing Education Credit (CEU) training that may be used to renew licenses issued by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS). The State of Florida requires that most professionals that apply pesticides as part of their job be certified to legally apply ANY pesticides (even Round-Up). The complete approved category and number of credits listing is Private (4.5), Ag Row Crops (2.0), Ag Tree Crop (3.0), Demo & Research (4.5) and Ornamental & Turf (3.0).
